About Us
In the year 2021, the merger of the Institute of Strategic Affairs and the Ethiopian Foreign Relations Training Institute gave rise to the prestigious Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA). The primary objective of IFA is to offer innovative policy guidance and suggestions by conducting in-depth research and analysis on matters concerning foreign relations.
Additionally, IFA aims to cultivate skilled foreign relations experts through comprehensive training programs, while also establishing itself as a leading institution for diplomatic knowledge and expertise. Operating as a prominent think tank within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IFA plays a crucial role in shaping foreign policy decisions.
